QS Ranking: Beijing and Shanghai are among the top 40 best study cities in the world
On July 31, the British QS Global Education Group released the ranking of the world's best cities for studying abroad. In the ranking, London ranked first, Beijing ranked 32nd in the world, Shanghai ranked 33rd in the world, and Nanjing ranked 99th. No. 105 in Wuhan.
Six indicators compiled by QS:
(1) University rankings: How many top universities are there in the city? This metric group is compiled using data from the latest QS World University Rankings;
(2) Student composition: What proportion of the city’s population are students? How diverse is the student body? What is the ratio of domestic students to international students? This indicator also takes into account the city’s inclusiveness . Cities with minority students will get high marks;
(3) City desire: Can students enjoy a high-quality life in this city? Do students want to study in this city? This indicator group contains a series of quality of life indicators: including corruption data, urban pollution index and some independent data, Such as The Economist magazine's ranking of the most liveable cities. QS also referenced survey data from the Ranking of Study Abroad Institutions in China , in which international students mentioned the cities they most wanted to study in;
