2. Requirements for registration documents

IELTS Language and Mathematics will only accept the following IDs:

• Chinese mainland candidates register with a valid second-generation ID card or passport

• Hong Kong and Macau candidates register with a valid ID card or passport

•Taiwan candidates apply with a valid Taiwan Resident Travel Permit (Taiwan Compatriot Permit)

• Non-Chinese candidates register with a valid passport.

3. Unacceptable registration documents

The identity documents that are not accepted for IELTS Chinese and Mathematics include but are not limited to: first-generation ID card, temporary ID card, household registration book, household registration certificate, identity certificate of public security organs, motor vehicle driver's license, student ID card, work permit, the People's Republic of China Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau, Mainland Travel Permit (Home Return Permit) for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, Hong Kong Visa Identity Card, Social Security Card, Military ID, any expired documents, etc.
